People stirfry udon, soba et cetera, so penne should be okay.

3. In theory it should work, but it's flax seed whole wheat
So it -may- come out tasting like French toast, but I think I can avoid that.

6. Most pasta is excellent stir-fried.
The secret to success is to use a small amount of a very flavourful oil, such as an Asian sesame oil in combination with your canola, peanut, safflower -whichever oil you prefer for your Stir Frying. Then make certain your pasta is al dente. It will continue cooking a bit when put into the heated oil, so unless a pile of pasta mush is the desired result, a bit undercooked is the desired starting point.

And finally, if you value your forearms and don't relish the idea of cleaning blots of oil off your kitchen countertops, - start with pasta which is not particularly wet.

If you have ever watched one of Mario Batale's cooking shows, you know that the correct way to prepare pasta is darned close to stir frying anyway.
