A holiday weekend and the pool is closed

at my apartment complex. I have no idea why; I imagine they need to fix something but it is bad timing none the less. I was so looking forward to going for a little swim. I have the pool to myself on weekdays when I am off work. I don't want to go to the beach because there will be too many goddamn people everywhere. No peace at all. Guess I can hole up in my (sort of) air conditioned apartment.
