Yeah, I know I have been a little over Barretted lately, but it will fade. I really was a big fan of his for many years and it kind of bummed me out when he croaked two months ago. Anyway, I thought it would be cool to find something to hang in the studio along with my prints of Pete Ham, John Lennon and Bob Dylan. So I found Mick Rock's site and bought a signed poster from him. It is one of his left over from a show he did in NYC a few years ago.
I had to put it in a poster frame for now because it was rolled up. I took a picture of it for another site I belong to, but I got the flash because I was too friggin' lazy to set up a tripod and set up some lighting. If you look in the right hand bottom corner you can see Mick Rock's signature and if you look in Syd's hands you will see the reflection of my cheesy Elvis bust that sits on top of my piano. That's a long story..lol.
So, I thought I would show you guys. It is pretty cool actually.
