My dog chased a squirrel right up my brother's leg.

As the squirrel headed for the fence when it saw my dog, Libby (my miniature Beagle, fast as greased lightning) angled toward it. The squirrel, not sure if it could make the fence, did an about face and ran right toward my brother. It ran up his leg before he could react, but when it did, boy did he react. He must have jumped three feet straight up in the air and he let out a girly scream. God, if I had caught that on tape, I know I could have won ten grand on America's Funniest Videos.

2. likewise. I think Libby would be as freaked as the squirrel.

I used to have a Shephard-mix that was a good squirrel chaser. About three times a year she would catch and kill one in our back yard, then triumphantly lay it on our patio step.

cinnamon mask, with just a spot of white right above her nose. She's very smart, but stubborn.

7. I think we must have laughed for twenty straight minutes. I had

tears running down both cheeks, I was laughing so hard. What made it so funny was that my brother always acts so macho all of the time.

It must have been a riot to witness.

All the troubles in the world today, and we can still derive a great deal of pleasure from a squirrel up a pantleg (as long as it's not ours). Some things are still the same.

It's funny, because there was a maple tree only ten feet away. This time the squirrel ran up the tree, before my dog could recover.

18. I've actually had this happen

I rescued a chipmunk from one of my cats in the middle of a large, grassy field. As I stood there holding the cat, waiting for the chipmunk to get away, two more cats appeared and converged on the poor thing. I scooped up one in my free arm and danced around trying to keep the other at bay with one foot. Meanwhile the chipmunk, in total panic mode, raced one way, then the other, then leaped onto my leg and began to climb.

I'd give a lot to have video of me leaping about, with two cats in hand and another dancing at my feet, trying to kick a panicked chipmunk off my leg. :rofl:
