6. He supports it by selling the plans and designs for them as collectibles.
He pays for the actual installations himself, out of the proceeds from the sales of the plans, which are one-of-a-kind documents. Weird rich people buy those from him, as a way of being his "patrons" and also making some money off of it - with the idea that those papers will someday be valuable.
