Rich Geidel, 50, co-owner of Everyone's Books, said the parking lot may not be the most appropriate place for nudity, but he said .. "As long as people are polite, don't block the entrance, we don't ask them to leave."

"As soon as winter comes, there won't be a story anymore," said Town Clerk Annette Cappy.

7. I guess if people really got sick and tired of naked teenagers, a bunch ..

.. of their elders could start hanging out naked in the same places -- that might end the stripping as quickly as cold weather does :evilgrin:

8. Maybe, maybe not

There are nudist colonies for all ages in various locations. I've read that not only do they help people get over the prudishness about the naked body but there's not so much of an issue about sexuality either. People are so used to seeing all of the "naughty bits" that they no longer consider them a big mystery, and don't feel a big need for ogling, porn and all of that. Body appearance, shape and size differences are not such a big drama for nudists in many cases as they are used to seeing them outright rather than camouflaging them like shameful secrets.

I lived in Brattleboro for four years when I was in my twenties. I used to go skinny-dipping nearby. If I tried that now, everybody on the beach would run away.
