My Skydive
I went skydiving for the first time today...well, actually yesterday..and it was fucking awesome. I can't wait to do it again.

You look like you are having a great time! Now you can do anything!!

I did this a month after my husband left cause he just wanted to be single! At the time I had no job, a three year old, a house that needed a ton of work. I figured if I could do this I could do anything. It gave me a sense of empowerment and control in my life I felt I was lacking.

It is much different then what I expected. Two completely different experiences rolled into one. The freefall was a rush, loud, tense, concentrating on the altimeter-then once the shute was pulled quiet, calm and beauty.
