I've been polite and opened doors for my neighbors on many occasions,
and it's the usual "thanks" routine.

When it's my turn to need help, one of them I see more often just stands there reading his paper while I'm fumbling my keys and holding onto a box containing 25 pounds of food and skillets.

x(

Needless to say, I won't be polite or gracious with them anymore.

He was an arrogant little sod too. Jus' starin' as if life was peachy keen.

1. I think you should dress up like
a head hunter and do your ceremonies out in the complex's parking lot.

3. Build a small fire
wait, build a large fire and dance around it while you chant the songs of the elders. It would also be good if you had the head of a small animal mounted on a stake that you carry around- preferably your neighbor's cat's head.

5. LOL! Yes you are.
I'm just trying to help you alleviate peevedness. I've never been known as a great comedian, though, so I understand.

6. ah, gotcha!! If you do want to help,
teach me how to socialize. I don't approach people outright because I often can't find the words to say or topics to think about. I bore people. And people've told me that too (men and women). Not in so many words, mind you...

9. You have to be willing to take the first step
You can practice right now if you want to. I've left you a PM with with my number in it. You do very well at initiating conversation in the written word. You just have to find some way to transfer that to the spoken word.

I've had trouble being sociable as well in the past and I still struggle with it at times, especially when I'm trying to socialize with a woman that I'm attracted to. That's the hardest for me.

7. I wouldn't let one person's actions determine your actions
He might be inconsiderate and selfish. He might have not just been paying attention. Regardless, this shouldn't change your actions of being helpful towards others.

8. He was standing right next to me and consciously moved back 1 pace.
I think he was paying attention...

I will still be happy to help others... but I never forget a face. So I won't be congenial or helpful to him in the future.
