Color me amazed!

I actually just had almost an entire thread go by in the GD without someone lashing out personally at me for having radical, off-mainstream ideas.

The first post out of the gat started with "Wow does your screen name fit" and several accusations of me being a bushie-fundie-repug (or whatever) - but I was able to kybosh that and the rest was some interesting (if polarized) discussion.

Again, I am amazed. Maybe the GD isn't so bad after all.

4. I used to see some pretty cool threads on page 3

and revive them, but now I waste too much time on page 1 and never get to later pages. Maybe I need to go spelunking again.

A lot of times it seems that kicking them back to page 1 inspires notice the second time around. :)
