I'll go first and show you an example

Carter Administration 1977-81

I was born in Southeast Asia to parents who were living and working there at the time. I was only born a few days before Carter left office so theoretically I spent the remaining days of his Administration in the hospital with my mother while she was recuperating from the pregnancy

Reagan Administration 1981-1989
Spent my childhood years in Southeast Asia and went to kindergarten and subsequently a British expatriate infant school. My path to a normal life was overshadowed due to several surgeries and operations and some severe illnesses that almost delivered me to death’s door. Nevertheless I have fond memories of growing up in a country surrounded by diverse ethnicities, cultures and religion and learning about them from an early age and of the idyllic and beautiful neighborhood we lived in and all the friendships we formed with the neighborhood children and friends from our school. I also have memories of exotic holidays we used to have to various other countries or tourist resorts in the region and the fun we used to have together as a family. I also have fond memories of holidays surrounded by grandparents and relatives. In 1988 I started primary school and I remember that I participated in a concert celebrating the 1988 Olympics and we also did a special project where we learned about the history of the Olympics. It was a beautiful and idyllic lifestyle beyond what I could ever adequately convey in words

Bush Administration 1989-1993
During this period I became interested in world affairs and politics and I can remember as a 9-10 year old watching the fall of the Berlin Wall, the release of Nelson Mandela from prison, and the CNN coverage of the Persian Gulf War and the subsequent collapse of the Soviet Union. It was a time of dramatic change and for hope and idealism of a better future

It was a time of personal upheaval in my life. On the upside I had a wonderful primary school teacher who played a key role in shaping my beliefs and values system and whose wonderful sense of humor and enthusiasm for his job was very inspirational and motivating. My family also kept traveling and we went on a visit to the United Kingdom where I was privileged to meet several family members and friends who have since passed on and whom I otherwise would never have had the pleasure of knowing. I loved the UK and Ireland –I particularly have fond memories of picking strawberries in Scotland and touring the beautiful regions of the Lake District and watching the sheep graze in the field

On the downside I had a very painful surgery and I had to leave my beloved friends, family and lifestyle behind and move to the country where I am now. It was a heartbreaking experience to leave everything I had ever known behind and I remember crying the first night in my new country. I also lost a grandparent during that time

Nevertheless I soon settled in to a fulfilling lifestyle in my new country and made lots of friends in my new school. I finished primary school in 1992
Clinton Administration (first term) 1993-1997
The first years of high school were tumultuous but I made a good set of friends, some of whom I am still in touch with today. 1995 was a good year and I excelled in history and politics. I was privileged to have the opportunity to work for a Member of Parliament for a week in 1996 and this only stimulated my already profound interest in history and politics.

I had yet another set of painful surgeries but strangely enough, even though I remember the immense pain of them, I also have cherished memories of how good it felt to be getting better and the love and support given to me by friends and family. I was in a wheelchair for a long time as a result of one of those surgeries and wouldn’t have gotten through life without them

Clinton Administration (second term 1997-2001)
A time of peace, prosperity and also the period of time when my life was at its most rewarding and fulfilling. My life in the senior years of high school was truly wonderful despite, or perhaps because of, the academic challenges involved. I made a great set of friends and had a wonderful and supportive set of teachers and things couldn’t have been better

My first year of university was wonderful. I moved on campus away from home and had a wonderful and fulfilling social and academic life. My memories of those years were filled with fond memories of friendship and fun and I even enjoyed doing assignments and research. Truly, those four years were the best years of my life

*Mis-Administration 2001-current
A very depressing phase of my life. Finished university and have worked in a number of temporary jobs, struggling to find full-time employment. I did embark on a very rewarding and fulfilling overseas trip on my own and enjoyed every moment of it. Mostly I’ve watched in dismay as a series of incompetent and inept governments around the world have destroyed the peace and prosperity that we once had

1977-1981....Jimmy Carter...to young to remember diddley squat...

1981-1989-Ronald Reagan...grew up in the 80's, pretty tame...was a child of divorce, my mother remarried, and her husband adopted my brohter and I...I consider my adoptive father to be my real dad, I dont' give bio dad any credit really. I remember Omar Kadoffee, Walter Mondale, members only jackets, converse shoes...lots of things. The 80's were pretty good for me.

1989-1993- George Sr. Junior high, half of my high school years...chaotic as can be. Health issues galore, my parents house burned down, my mother lost two children in this time period, very sad times....:(

1993-2001-Bill Clinton. High school complete, happy that nightmare is over, went to college, had good times there...experienced a lot of differnt aspects of life, and started living on my own meal ticket(since 17yrs of age)...met some very good friends...some good times actually. But, I did have bad times, mostly a lack of any intimate relationships...

2001-2006-George Jr. Got married, finally found a woman who can accept me as I am. We have a house, car...tons of bills. Dad had a stroke, it was really rough times, a lot of other medical issues, primarily with my wife, but I also had another bout of medical problems.

Believe me, I can relate very well to that. And a loved member of my family is currently having quite a depressing experience with medical issues as well

And I'm very saddened to hear that your mother lost two children and that your house burned down -that must have been awful, I'm so sorry:hug:

Believe me, I've been going through a "lack of intimate relationships" for a long time now and I now how depressing it is.

But I'm glad that you've finally found your true love and happiness with her -that is truly wonderful and may you have many rewarding, fulfilling and enjoyable years ahead of you. And all the very best in terms of thoughts, prayers, best wishes and positive vibes for the medical issues for you, your wife and your father

medical issue for me, was the same thing, three times..my own stupidity for not taking my meds like I was suppose to, all on me. It was rough, but its life, I'm still alive and kicking. My dad had a pretty decent stroke, his whole left side got effected, but he is recovering well, as for my wife, that still out on a limb...but I hope for the best...:)
