1. We used to
when we had a dog. :P

We also had a dishwasher. Without that, I wouldn't have let her.

4. No
But we do give him scraps and sometimes save small portions of our food for him -but even there we have to be careful because he's on a strict diet due to a condition he has

...he acts like a dog all the time though..he'll eat almost anything even boiled cabbage...his favorite veggies are green beans right outta the can...he and his little sister lived outside for a few weeks before I took 'em in so I guess he scrounged for stuff anywhere and isn't picky...fetches...growls when strangers come towards the front door...he's a purrrty boy too damn smart for his own good sometimes. :D

Here's my Brutus...

....he has different pitches to his meows...if I'm in the bedroom and he wants me...he says "Mmeow'ma"...Ma'ma...he's a TRIP...and yes indeed that patch is his permanent smirk...another dog trait he has is turnin' his head sideways in puzzlement while eyeballin' your plate o'food as he sneaks a paw out to try and take stuff off it and he turns the light off and on in the laundry closet as it has a string pull cord...genius baby boy I tell ya!! Spoiled ROTTEN too...here's a shot of him tormentin' his little sister Natasha...and my other baby girl who's goin' on 17 yrs. who's my softest little *Angel*..her coat is like silk...all three were strays...my only children! :D :loveya:

6. No, but I let my cat do it.
Cats own the humans. Humans own the dogs. The dogs have to know they're not your equal.

16. Dogs mouths are cleaner than our mouths.

Scientific fact, per a study we did in biology in college. They also have a special enzyme in their saliva that helps things heal. That's why they'll lick you if you've got a cut or abrasion. They are trying to help.

17. When I had dogs I let them lick the plate
They also kept the area around my sons high chair presentable. They were good house cleaners that way.

and try to lick the plates there as we put them in. It can be a real pain actually. :)
