Childish pictures (proud mama moment) dial-up warning
My mum bought my duaghter a cheap, cheesy $20 digital camera the other day, and I am fascinated by what Dropkid is taking pictures of. It almost makes me want to get her a better camera so we can have better quality shots (I don't even have a digicam at the moment). Below are some of her pics (proud mama moment, so bear with me). The quality is nigh on terrible, but interesting (to me at least).

2. Great pics--and make that INVESTMENT.
My son showed a talent for photographic composition early on, too. We bought him a little instamatic for his 5th b-day and were quite amazed at his talents. He's 9 now, with a keen interest in photography.

If you can find a sturdy, inexpensive digital camera, I highly recommened buying one for her. We just returned from Europe in July, and our son took better pictures than we did!

4. I am seriously debating it!
She loves taking pictures, and the hassle before was the cost of film and developing, but witha digicam, that's a moot point. I may begin looking on craigslist for one in the near future.

5. Oh, I am going to encourage it!
I LOVED when I took photography classes in high school (still have an enlarger and everything from my brother, though I don't remember squat about how to develop pics).

I love being able to see the world through her eyes!

6. Wow! Those are really excellent photographs! May I ask
how old Dropkid is? The composition is very pleasing.

I love those pictures. Would they be called still-life? :dunce:

7. She is 5 1/2
I think they'd be still life. As she says, she really likes taking pictures of things. And the dog, of course :)

I'll let her know everyone seems to like her pictures, she'll be thrilled!

8. The pictures are very interesting.
She has a eye, get her a good camera.

I like the 3rd and 5th one, I take pictures like that.
