Just got back from New Orleans....
I live in Baton Rouge, so it's not like I had not been back since Katrina, but it was a good trip. Southern Decadence, by all appearances, got a good turnout which is EXACTLY what the city needs. Don't let the media fool you into thinking that the whole area is a bombed-out shell.

6. You know, I didn't take any pictures...
I brought my camera, but I really hate lugging it around to bars and such (had a few get ruined that way).

This was a very relaxing visit for me- I opted to stay at a B&B out of the quarter for some peace and quiet.

5. Hi SacredCow. My husband and I were there too and thought the turnout was
pretty good as well. We were there for a concert but I got to take in the sights of Southern Decadence for awhile. We got a few photos of the guys having a great time. I saw some real cuties and one of the gals even "made eyes at me"!
