I gained 2 pounds over the weekend. |

I ate nothing but twizzlers licorice and raw, whole grain rotini pasta.
Time to eat those broccoli sandwiches with the broccoli bread again for a while...
Damn comfort food. I need comfort people instead.

1. How do you gain weight on that diet? |
|
There is no real nutritional value to twizzlers, except sugar and whole grain rotini raw wouldn't really be fattening either. Dude, are you delirious with hunger this evening? Duckie

2. Sugar gets converted into fat... and pasta is nothing but carbohydrates. |
|
Complex carbs, yes, but carbs nonetheless. They still get converted to fat if not burned up, and I have no reason to exercise. :7

3. It still must have been a major binge |
|
7000 extra calories in twizzlers and pasta is a lot of pasta and twizzlers. Now that I am eating again, I have that problem with carbs too sometimes as I stare at the almost empty bag of Snyders honey mustard & onion pretzel pices that I opened Saturday night and am freaking out because of it. Fortunately, we don't have a scale.

4. 1 2lb bag of twizzlers plus 1 box of whole grain goodness... |
|
:9
Of course, I did go on the bike today. Got dizzy after 2 minutes, so I stopped.

8. If that's all you ate over a few days, you shouldn't have gained |
|
I don't have those items but I am guessing that there are less than 3500 calories there. We burn calories just existing.

9. On Friday, I did treat myself to 3 cups of frozen yogurt... |
|
Okay, I generally eat well, but this weekend has been bad.
Still, only 3 cups of that stuff wouldn't add that much either...
But I've been weak.

5. Two pounds is well within the margin of error for a home scale, thus |
|
it's utterly insignificant.

Even with the best of scales it's perfectly normal for people's weight to fluctuate a couple of pounds in a weekend or even a day but this doesn't mean someone has gained fat. A myriad of reasons can explain this. I have a friend who normally is 125 but can gain or lose over five pounds in a day based on the weather.

They haven't arrived.
I'll be going out again, tomorrow. (the new DVDs come out, but I want to learn how to live anyway. While there's still time; who wants to date an unemployed guy? :D )
