I have some memories of dating him in the early 1960s in New York City, but we broke up. I don't remember why. He was a handsome young aspiring actor, working for a trade magazine.

3. I'm going to my 50th high school reunion October 20-21-22.

There have already been dozens of people in the NMHS Class of 1956 who have died. Somehow, it's reaching a crescendo now.

I hope that attending this reunion -- the first one I've ever been to -- won't be a complete downer.

You only realize the drumbeat of death when you hear about these things.

"RIP, David. I named my son David -- although I didn't know you very well."

10. OT: What shall I do with my husband at my reunion? He only knows

one couple from my high school past -- and the man in that couple isn't there too well because of Alzheimer's.

I asked him if I could go to the events alone -- he said, "No." (WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? I HARDLY EVEN DATED IN HIGH SCHOOL AND WAS MOSTLY WITH MY BOYFRIEND, AN IMMIGRANT FELLOW OF 19 YEARS OF AGE WHO DIDN'T GO TO THAT SCHOOL.)

I think he's jealous.
