7. So did ice cream.
There's also a whole network devoted to food, not all of it healthy or good for you, which also does historical documentaries from time to time.

Popular culture history is interesting to many people, including me.

They showed "Ben and Jerry's," and how megacorporation Pillsbury tried to stop Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and how Ben and Jerry fought back and won. :woohoo:

Not quite sure. Hey, I haven't bought anything made in China in decades because of how they treat Tibetans.

a kid - Freddy's donuts in Buffalo. On the other hand, maybe as a kid I loved lard and sugar, so who knows?

22. Ours just closed, but interesting factoid...
They were the only certified kosher eating establishment in my county. So now if any kosher Jew friends come to visit, I can't take them out for a doughnut dinner. :-)

OK, seriously, they were good when they were fresh and hot, but not any better than one of our local, family owned doughnut shops.

24. You don't know TRUE evil until...
...you've had bread pudding made from KrispyKreme glazed doughnuts.

I used to go to the one in Raleigh; I was pretty bummed
when I found out they were heavily red.

29. They even have frozen drinks that taste like donuts!
For people too lazy to actually pick up and bite into a donut they
devloped a frozen drink that tastes just like a donut.

So now Americans can't even get that little bit of exercise of lifting a donut to their mouths!

You know that must be very evil!!!!!!!!!

That's exactly how I feel about beer. I recently posted a picture of me with a beer, and I'm certainly doing bicep curls with the glass. :D
