Warning to Bank of American and Mbna credit card customers.

This is what happened to my husband and myself.I applied in 1996 for a Sky Bank master card.I put my husband down as an authorized user.His name was not on the account.My husband has never used a credit card in his life.Checking over his free credit report I saw that Mbna had him not only as an authorized user but placed him as an account holder.
I also saw that bank of america reported my card under his credit report.He is only an authorized user.When confronted bank of america did my card off his credit report.Mbna is refusing to take him off my account.Be very careful of letting someone put you on their account as an authorized user.

1. I cancelled the big bank cards.

Better to use local credit unions and small banks.
