So why the hell did Harvey Keitel do this crapodrama on ABC

I was checking out on IMDB the "Path to 9/11 as told by right-wing bloggers" and noticed that of all things, Harvey Keitel was the lead actor.

You know, I always thought of Harvey Keitel as a talented actor who doesn't seem to ever be lacking for a script. He has long ties with Scorese, Tarentino, and DeNiro which pretty much would keep him employed until his deathbed.

So why the hell is he in this crap that is based on nothing but lies.

No one held a gun to his head, as far as I'm concerned I have no desire to see another Keitel movie again

I always liked his work. And while I will do my best to avoid anything new that he does, I can't imagine never seeing great films like Reservoir Dogs, etc. again.

Have no idea of his personal politics - maybe just needed work and this was billed as an "important" film. Noticed Patricia Heaton is in this too, not a suprise I suppose, but I didn't recognize any other names.
