Afraid of cotton balls? You are not alone. (WARNING: GRAPHIC)

<snip>

After reading that other people are deathly afraid of cotton, I am overjoyed.

This is monumental for me as I have had a raw cotton phobia for 20 years. I am absolutely petrified of raw cotton. I can't see it or touch it, or I'll flip out. The mere thought of it gives me the shivers and leaves me with an empty feeling in my chest. I can't even look at pictures of raw cotton balls or my body cringes. Yes, I can use Q tips but cotton balls are out of the question. Halloween and Christmas are especially hard holidays as their decoration involves the worst kind of cotton: pulled apart to look like webs and a lot of it.

I'm glad there are other people out there with this terrible fear as I thought I was a real freak (maybe I still am) for the last 20 years.
