2. High school and undergrad

Flute, flag corps, and piccolo.

3. When I was in HS, we planned an evening around the DCI

Championships show. It used to be on public television, but now ESPN has picked it up.

Flute/Piccolo, Bassoon/Contrabassoon in HS and on scholarship in college. :patriot:

6. I appreciate the coverage that DCI is getting on ESPN and all

but they do a shitty job of covering it. In marching band, so much is tied into the overhead picture (the view from the stands, so to speak)

The ESPN coverage spends WAYYYYY too much time field-level, rather than with overhead shots. The auxiliary is nice and all, but it's not the ONLY thing happening.

Am I off base?

4. I was actually IN drum corps..

4 years in the CapitolAires from Madison, WI(I think they are now called Capitol Sound though) and One year in the Pioneer drum corp out of Cedarburg.

My ex was a founding member of the Memphis Blues and wrote and arranged percussion parts for the Blues, the Regiment and had a few published.
