Douglas Adams, "Last Chance to See" - warning Irwin Reference
So in reading through ScienceBlog stuff I came across a reference to Steve Irwin's death and came across a reference to a book by Douglas Adams titled "Last Chance to See"

I'm a big Hitch Hicker's Guide to the Galaxy fan but never heard of this book By Adams. Anyway this book sounds like a good one. The book relates the tales of Adams and a BBC crew going out to see exotic animals, here's the last part of a conversation with a snake expert.

====

"So what do we do if we get bitten by something deadly, then?" I asked.

He blinked at me as if I were stupid.

"Well, what do you think you do?" he said. "You die of course. That's what deadly means."

LOL!
