1. I'm a Gob/Hobgoblin fan, though I think Kraven made the best enemy

He involved Mary Jane, after all, a no-no.

...J.J.J was certainly the one that PISSED ME OFF the most.

He did more damage than any 2 villians, but Spidey couldn't
MORALLY harm a hair on his head.

O'Reilley couldn't act his way out of a shower scene

But 100 million American theater-goers throwing stuff at the screen
would mean some MAJOR sales increases for NestleCorp,
and SERIOUSLY increased demand for entry-level broom operators
and spittle-removal technicians.

In the BushCabal™ economy, the hiring-spike would have been
front page news!

But seriously, I think the actual bigscreen JJJ was an act of casting
genius, just like picking Tobey Maguire to play PP.

That's why that was a great movie. We all knew the story by heart,
so they wisely left the story intact and spent great effort in
finding JUUUUST the right actors to tell it.

Compare that to the rancidly horrid 'Hulk' confusion-fest.
The last time I saw a BOMB that size, it was being loaded
into a B29 named 'Enola Gay'.

Good actors, my favorite CGI scene of all time,
but they messed with the story;
they turned free GOLD into 80 million-dollar SHIT
right before our eyes.

Whoever was responsible for that Hulk debacle...
if their IQ ever hits 70, they should SELL!

Where was Gwen Stacey? and the brilliant Peter Parker who invents his own webbing and delivery device rather than shooting out of his wrists? None of that was as bad as the ending, which ruined the whole thing for me - beyond repair. "Boy gets girl, but then says 'I can't'" Well, that's certainly something different, but different does not mean better. The only thing that could be worse would be the new "Daredevil". I have not seen either that, though, or the Hulk or the Fantastic Four.

Daredevil sucked ass, but the HULK was like salad-tossing-on acid BAD.

There are no words in the English language which could

44. Spiderman wasn't too bad.

The Spiderman movies were alright. Little things like the webshooters are just the unfortunate, but forgiveable casualties of the on-screen adaptation. Things like the omission of Gwen Stacey and the romantic-ish ending in regards to MJ are just the by-product of Hollywood feeling the need to follow a formula to try and please various demographics.

Hulk was almost as bad as the other dude said it was. Daredevil was actually a LOT worse than the Hulk. Daredevil may have been one of the worst movies I've ever seen (not as bad as Batman and Robin, but not much better either).

I actually like the Fantastic Four movie. It was just a big dumb action movie, but it didn't pretend to be anything else. And it was a good action movie. I went in with low expectations, but came out very pleased.

Best Spiderman villain . . . the Green Goblin is his prime arch-nemesis, but Venom, Carnage, the Jackal, Doc Ock, Kraven, and the Clone-Saga writers all deserve some thought. Spidey really does have a great rogues gallery, but it's gotta be the Green Goblin though, in terms of just having done the most damage to Spiderman.

but the following weekend, you better believe it...:) I'm not a big fan of opening day/weekend movies. I have only gone opening day to Superman Returns, but Supes is my main guy...:) The trailer looks great, and I'm staying away from the Spiderman movie boards, the superman boards leaked a lot of info, which 99% of it was actually "true." It amazed me how much leaked info was out, plus they released Superman Returns the novel like a month before the movie even came out...

Alien: Awesome, Aliens: Amazingly awesome. A3: uterly boring B-movie shit.

I think the trilogy of LOTR was pretty decent...1 was good, 2 was okay, and ROTK was great! :) I got faith, but who knows...I'm trying to be optimistic, plus Venom is in it....but again, X3, which had Juggernaut(one chaotic man, and another personal fave) and they botched him up pretty well IMO. But who knows....:)

Kraven hunts Spider-Man, considering him the ultimate game. Kraven shoots Spider-Man with a tranquilizer gun and buries him. While Spider-Man comes to and battles his way from a coffin and 6 feet of earth, Kraven dons a Spidey costume of his own and vanquishes Vermin, the subterranean human-vermin terror. Feeling that he has proven that he can not only defeat Spider-Man, but out-hero Spider-Man, he feels he has reached his peak, and before Spider-Man can avenge his "death," Kraven shoots himself in the head. One of the best views in the psychology of a comic book villain.



I can sum up comic books just fine, but spelling's hard work.

I like alot of the early ones. They got off to such an amazing start with Spiderman

The Chameleon, The Vulture, The Tinkerer, Doctor Octopus, The Sandman, Doctor Doom, The Lizard, Electro, Mysterio, The Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, The Ringmaster, The Scorpion...

All that within the first 20 issues...

I'd say the most awesome of those would probably be, imho Sandman.
