Owen Wilson. Funny guy or annoying?
personally i will watch any movie with owen wilson in it. i can see how people might think he is annoying though. i would love to punch him in the nose again and maybe set it straight.

1. I like Luke better
I do think, though, that Owen's nose is kinda' cute. I like guys that aren't physically perfect.

14. I'm a Luke fan too.
Owen looks like he got bashed in the face with a space heater.

8. I agree. He plays the straight man quite well against the likes
of Vince Vaughn or Ben Stiller

Without a clown to play against, he's like nails on the chalkboard to me.

12. He is always the same persona in every film.
It is both a funny and annoying persona.

He is more original as a writer, apparently.

15. he is best when teamed with wes anderson
i haven't really liked anything else he's done besides the 4 movies he and wes wrote together...(bottle rocket, rushmore, royal tenenbaums and the life aquatic)

17. He didn't write Life Aquatic
Wes teamed with Noah Baumbach on that one.

Which is, IMHO, the reason it's not nearly as good as the other Anderson films.

Odd, though, as I think Baumbach is more talented than either of them. I'll cite Mr. Jealousy and The Squid and the Whale as my evidence.

However, I just think that Wes and Owen's styles blend very well with one another. Wes and Noah's...meh.

I liked him in. I liked Luke in several but Owen? Nah. All I know of him is from celebrity blogs.

22. It's odd. He's in a few movies I like, yet he gets on my nerves.
I don't think I could ever buy him in a role where he was supposed to be really likeable.
