Knee length cast and crutches...6 weeks... all because I stepped

5. I punctured the bottom of my foot 7 weeks ago on the end of an

AC/DC adapter (thanks WannaBe) and it "disrupted" the Plantar FAc-whatever it is and dislocated some bones in my foot. I'm an idiot, eh?

Sounds like something I'd do, though. I once bashed myself in the foot with a wooden cane during a stage performance. Made it pretty hard to stay in character, but I did! I had to get x-rays the next day, but hadn't actually broken anything. Most of the top of my foot turned purple, though.

How are you doing? Seems like I haven't talked to you in awhile.

48. I went away for 5 days

and didn't have any time to get online. I was going through withdrawl, but I had a wonderful time.

Now it's back to work and they're trying to kill me. x(

But overall I'm doing very well. I'm in a surprisingly cheerful mood, I haven't maimed anyone yet, and I am stopping by to see my nephew this afternoon.

He's grown, and he's allowed to do whatever he wants, but he went away for 2 weeks without telling any of us. We all sort of freaked out when we couldn't get in touch with him. He didn't even bring his cell phone. I'm the closest, so I get to stop buy and give him the family lecture about staying in touch and not disappearing without giving us all the details about where he'll be.

He knows the lecture is coming and he thinks it's cool that we were worried about him. He feels loved, so he'll take the lecture well. :)

Life is good right now.
