Poll question: What not to say if you are on the radio?
My wife was invited to be on the radio. It was for a semi-public station that plays popular (as opposed to classical) music. She had sent a donation and they wanted to interview her and play six of her favorite songs.

Anyway, she was anxious and did not know what she was going to say. I gave some examples of what NOT to say.

What is the best thing NOT to say on the radio?

1. Make sure you don't refer to prominent African Americans as "uppity"
Though the thugs would probably love it, and send more money to the station.

2. A Vet's #1 Tip
Don't think about what you're going to say.

Think about what you think. Think about what point to get across, and possible tangents.

See if the wife can find out what topic the announcer wants to interview her about.
