Poll question: What is your favorite Raymond Burr role?
Edited on Wed Sep-06-06 04:43 PM by WI_DEM
I have no idea why I'm asking this question except I had an irresistible urge to.

(Whoops! I meant to put this in the lounge! Sorry).

15. Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window
I was never a Raymond Burr fan, but "Rear Window" is a masterpiece and his portrayal of the villain in that film contributes greatly to its success.

17. I'm standing up for Robert Ironside. 'Cause, you know, he can't stand up!

Seriously, though. I liked Ironside because his first name is the same as mine. And Ironside is a cool name for anybody, but especially for a guy in a wheelchair.

I loved that show. I used to love watching the beginning with the characters in silhouette against a blood-red background. And the pseudo-Bernard Herrman music. It was just TOO cool! B-)

19. He was good in "Crime of Passion" with Barbara Stanwyck
Sterling Hayden got billing over him but Burr's performance was pretty good.

20. One wonders: Was the guy who portrayed Paul Drake also gay?
Because . . . just look at the guy. If he's not queer as a three dollar bill, neither am I.
