Has Jaenene Garafalo Joined the Church of Scientology?
Just wondering if the flap of her pushing their products had any merit or not...

4. And she's not even really Hollywood.

She's a New Yorker. Hell, she even took a few years off from movies and crap just so she could hang out in NY and do little comedy shows. I saw her do awesome standup in a little dirty club in Brooklyn for $10. I totally respect celebrities who do stuff like that. Hell, it costs more than $10 to see my stand-up comic cousin perform and he's not even well-known.

However, Porno Jim's (another cousin) show is $10 and that is well worth it for some hilarious naughty fun.

8. I'd spend $10 for standup, good or bad.
 Your cousin sounds like a hoot. You gave me his website info once, and I check it every now and then.

Let's just hope it's a vicious rumor about Janeane Garofalo. :scared:

6. Well I dunno if its true or not
Wikipedia had listed one of the resons she left AAR was because of her pushing a Scientology purification scheme.

7. I think pushing that "purification rundown" is as far as it went
Janeane claimed she was played like a sucker, IIRC. But I could be wrong...

9. Can't Wikipedia be updated by anybody who wants to add info?

11. I think so
They make it open for editing by anyone...but for them to save the edits you need to source it.

So if you have anything you can source they'll change it.

13. Thanks. I was under the impression that false updates could be made and
saved. I feel a little better now. :D

14. Well you're right too
False updates can be made, but you can also report on a false update and have it removed - with the deciding factor being sourced material.

It's just that people don't always complain about the false updates.
