Calling the PC gamers!
I usually look forward to play a bit when the nights get longer, and I just found my old Wing Commander games again - which, of course, look pretty silly now. But that's the kind of game I'm looking for, and I'm pretty much out of the loop. Is there some decent stuff avialable today in this genre that uses all my machines ressources up? Good graphics, etc?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance! :hi:

4. LOL!
I played Warcraft as well ... Civilization ... Sims ... etc. But I'm looking more for something action-like with a sci-fi touch.

:hi:

11. Isn't Starcraft just Orcs in space?
Just kidding! I love these games, but I'm looking for more action, quick to play. I don't want to go back to the days when I could stay up all night. ;)

3. I don't usually play that sort of game
(Though I did love me some Wing Commander back in the day!)

Anyway, point being, I don't know whether it's any good or not, but I saw a new similar-ish type game called Sword of the Stars the other day.

You might look into it.

13. If it's good, let me know
I usually do RPGs, FPSs and Civ IV these days, but I'm always up for something new!

5. Hi Call Me Wesley!
Long time no see! :hi:

I'm afraid the only games I play on my PC are 1st-person shooters, of which Doom 3 is my favourite.
