Yesterday I was buying beer for the gang.

I was at the self-checkout, which requires "authorization" when you buy alcohol. Usually, someone comes over and punches some numbers in. But yesterday, the lady asked for ID! I got CARDED! :wow: No shit! It's been about 10 years since that's happened! Well, I mean to tell ya, that made my day! :woohoo: Considering that I'll be 50 this month, I thought this was a celebration worthy of its own thread. :blush:

OH, and HOW could I forget? On our way to the gazebo for our picnic .... when we got to where we could see the property from the road, I noticed something strange. It looked like the place had been mowed! We got closer and, sure enough, it HAD been! SOMEONE (the mowing fairy) came over and took WEEKS of work away from us. It was a very happy surprise. They mowed about 4 1/2 acres!!!! :D :woohoo:
