Because of you and your Loretta Sanchez stories, me and Paul just got back from door knocking our precinct for our State rep for the second election cycle in a row for us. Paul is about to hit the phones.

Thanks for bringing me kicking and "Dean screaming" on board the Kerry train, what a ride. His acceptance speech moved us to cheers and tears, we still watch it. Outstanding. You were right on about my best liberal vote.

We never got that 'blue' siding because of your education.

We are better humans because we crossed paths with you and your efforts here.

She always gave some clear headed commentary to help counter the 'chatter' from the rightwing "perception management" folks... who are once again trying to sell the "we are stronger now" just in time for the midterm election (ala the GOP Propoganda whisper: just pretend our world image is still strong, that we got Osama, that the Afghanistan govt we installed rules more than Kabul, that our 'ally' Pakistan didn't just sign a cease fire with the Taliban, that because of all the wmds confiscated from IRaq and the great peace and opportunities existent to the citizens due to the invasion and emerging democracy there that no exponential growth in the number of future terrorists is occuring... etc.)

has always been appreciated!

one of the things i love most about Teena is that i learn stuff from her - on political, personal, intellectual, general info, and any other myriad of areas where learning is possible. she continues to enlighten in a couple of areas that i still need enlightening, and is an influence on me when i enter certain debates.

i can't sum up, in a couple of sentences how i know that i'm a luckier person to know her - but i am.
