It's an amazing experience. Beyond the MSM characterisation of it as some kind of drug/orgy, there are a huge amount of talented artists and technologists who build amazing projects just to entertain others. It's also got the best bar-hopping scene on this side of the milky way, as all the drinks (and in fact everything) are free of charge.

5. I teach and the week before Labor Day is when school starts
