Tonight, the entry is from Tommyknocker out of Idaho Springs. The brew is the Jack Whacker wheat ale.



From Tommyknocker:
An American-style wheat ale brewed with 30% malted wheat and 2 row barley. Low hopping rates allow the refreshing aroma and citrus flavor of a late addition of lemon grass to dominate. This unfiltered beer retains all of its protein, flavor, and some of its yeast, resulting in a traditionally cloudy appearance. 2000 North American Brewers Assoc. Gold Medal, 2002 CO State Fair Gold Medal, 2003 Westword Mag. "Best of", 2004 CO State Fair Silver Medal, 2005 GABF Silver Medal, 2005 NABA Silver Medal.

I like the lemongrass they've added. The citrus blend makes for a refreshing beer. I also have to suggest that although I have no idea what the alcohol content is, it must be fairly...um, considerable.

5. I like Tommy Knocker ... all their beers, and their soft drinks as well

They make a mean almond cream soda.

But my favorite of their beers is the Butt Head Bock :beer:
