Question on bird migration.... |

has anyone in the northern central US noticed if the Canadian geese have started migrating? We usually have them starting to show up here at this time of year and I have not seen the flocks that we usually have.

there are just tons of them around here lately in southeast louisiana
the migration started some time ago, however, a lot of them are no doubt being short-stopped up north so if you're lucky maybe they won't reach you :-)
by the way it's "canada geese" not "canadian geese"

Lotta Canadian geese never get out of Michigan in the summer. The arrow doesn't usually fly till late september. Right now I'm noticing the little birds starting to flock. Tree's, phone wires, large bushes. Pull up to a stop light and there's a minor chorus of birds on the wires and in the trees.
