I have a feeling this movie is going to stick with me the way Henry Miller plays do.
I'm not sure I "get" it, yet, but I liked it.
And the end credits montage... 'the hell?
Lars von Trier, you got some 'splainin to do!

Very racist and shallow, in my opinion.

2. It is the religious film that |
|
Mel Gibson would have made if he was smart and talented.

3. I loved that movie, but I can see why people hated it... |
|
It totally spoke to the human inclination to use people and figures to our advantage until they are no longer of use to us or can benefit them another way and then they are thrown to the dogs.
The scene at the end where Nicole Kidman says what she says about the woman and her children was bone chilling.
I'm a mysanthrope though, so the movie spoke to my generally negative view of humanity.
