My thoughts before I go to bed ....
I know that all of us will be some what on edge tonight and in the morning.

Remembering the events five years ago have never left my mind.

At this time, I don't want to dwell on "who did it", "who didn't do shit about it", "who took advantage of it". We all pretty much agree. And I don't need endless video "tributes" and news casts to remember.

What I want to do is two things.

1. Remember the lives that were lost. Pray for their families and souls of those that died that horrible day. Never forget it. Not just to remember where I was or what I did on September 11th 2001. But to not forget the love I felt in my heart (and still do) for the people that died. I didn't know one person that died that day. But I felt that my spirit was pouring out love and support they and their loved one.

2. Thank all of you. Thank all of you for being here and being my rock and support through the many shitty moments we have faced over the past years. With humor, anger and a general kick ass 'tude ... we'll carry on. We'll do what's best and we will win.

:loveya:

2. I'll add something to #1
and that is whose lives will also be lost because of Sept 11. I watched this documentary tonight on cbc: http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/toxiclegacy/index.html

Five years later and they're still disputing the health claims of rescue workers??!!?? :grr: :grr: :grr:

And the residents of the area...who, believing the EPA, went back to their homes...:-(

Here are some excerpts: http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/toxiclegacy/video.html

Beautiful post, ronnykmarshall.
