I don't get it - what's the point of wasting one's night trying to disrupt a website that one disagrees with? And then, after such disruption and "victory", after spending hours of one's time in meaningless dialogue and asinine prankstering, claiming that one is so much more intellligent because one brought the DUMMIES down or "taught them a thing or two" or what have you?

That's no victory - that's pure penalty. You just wasted hours of your life on a totally meaningless, empty act of vandalism that isn't creative or, in any sense of the word, relevant, and is, in all senses of the word, quickly able to be cleaned up in a way that no evidence of the vandalism will ever exist.

I just don't get it -- I have no desire to go to freepland or CU or any other site and try to disrupt them on this anniversary of 9-11: I prefer to spend the time in dialogue with my friends.

But I guess when one's entire life is centered around and focused on being a men, vindictive, as-far-from-Jesus-as-possible piece of useless, clueless, ignorant, slimy shit, one doesn't have friends with which to associate, one only has fellow, equally-empty-of-life "associates" or "warriors" (HA HA HA HA!!!!!) with whom to brag about "valiant acts of patriotism" enacted while sitting at home naked in mom's basement with a John Holmes' Brand(tm) Extendo-Vacuum tied to your flacidk, diseased penis.

I hadn't thought of that, but i think you are right - if they weren't afraid of us, that would mean we really don't have any power; their fear means that we do have power (or at least, that they recognize as being existent, whether it really is or not), and therefore maybe we shouldn't whine and be fearful so much, but should take stock of the fact that, whether we have any power or not, THEY think we do -- and therefore, we DO have power!
