2. Queen is still #2. BTW, you know their music is distributed through..
...a subsidary of Disney along with anything that Brian May does.

That's just in the states.

Makes me glad I pretty much have all the Queen music out there because I'm not supporting Disney in any way

the guys from metallica would say...

1. J. Hetfield-Jimmy, Johnny Cash, Lemmy Kilmenster

2. K. Hammet-Jimmy, sabbath, Scorpions, UFO, Rudolph/Michael Schenker

3. Lars-Lemmy(motorhead), Iron Maiden..........

4. The new bassist...I don't care to much for him...I miss Newsted...badly. That ...Trujillo probably likes Slayer though, so I can't fault him to much...:)

10. Queen is really more a Broadway show than a rock band.
The show tune aspect. "Bohemian Rhapsody". Very theatrical, over the top.

Never liked them much. I like rock that is rock.

14. Queen is borderline Top Twenty for me...
Certain Top Twenty, if we are just talking Rock:

The Beatles
Rolling Stones
Allman Brothers Band
The Band
Fleetwood Mac (only if Christine McVie is with them, or the original group with Peter Greene)
The Who
The Doors
Jimi Hendrix Experience
Cream
Traffic
CSN/CSNY
Bruce/E Street Band
R.E.M.
Janis Joplin/Big Brother & The Holding Company
The Beach Boys

And I would add other Eric Clapton groups like Derek/Dominoes, plus a couple of Bob Dylan/backup band groups as well, before Queen.

:hi:

27. i had the great pleasure of seeing them live
oh so much fun.

this was in a club in Austin. They had a giant dragon that they cut its head off, and blood went everywhere. It came shooting out all over the crowd, and totally drenched some cops that were breaking up a fight. (skinhead bouncers beating the shit outta some guy)

22. Not the best but...
Gotta love this one as an all time favorite.

Are you gonna take me home tonight?
Ah, down beside that red firelight;
Are you gonna let it all hang out?
Fat bottomed girls,
You make the rockin' world go round.

Hey
I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad,
But I knew life before I left my luxury,
Left alone with big fat Fanny,
She was such a naughty nanny!
Heap big woman you made a bad boy out of me!
Hey, hey!

I've been singing with my band
Across the wire, across the land,
I seen ev'ry blue eyed floozy on the way, hey
But their beauty and their style
Wear kind of smooth after a while.
Take me to them lardy ladies every time!

(C'mon)
Oh won't you take me home tonight?
Oh down beside your red firelight,
Oh and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round...etc.

Got to love this song.
