4. the way i think about it
is that it's a lot less than a mortgage, and most people manage to pay those off eventually. But maybe that's just avoidance, I dunno.

5. That's not terrible
I'll probably end up owing Chase or some other of our wonderful educational financers somewhere in the 80-100k range by the time I'm done with my Bachelor at Michigan State, where I start for Spring sem. Major is Poli Sci w/minor in Journalism. I figure it'll just be a lifelong deal that I have to put up with in order to find a decent job in something that I enjoy.

6. yeah, in retrospect
i probably should have pushed harder for an athletic scholarship (not that i was that good, anyway!)

i'm always amused when some clown playing for the Stanfords, Wake Forests and George Washingtons of the world starts bitching about how he doesn't 'get anything' and whines about wanting more compensation....
