5. I always feel like somebody's watching me.
And I have no privacy.

Can the people on TV see me? Or am I just paranoid?

11. Once for a short period of time...after bein' prescribed anti-depressants.
....I had horrible paranoid delusions which lasted long after I stopped takin' them....never before had I experienced paranoia...even the *illegal* stuff I'd done hadn't given me this feelin'...so I figured out I wasn't clinically depressed and never again will I take another pharmaceutical for depression...I wasn't crazy but definitely became so after takin' that poison. :scared:

13. that happened in January of 2001 btw.....
Edited on Wed Sep-13-06 06:18 PM by jus_the_facts
....during the coup...everything that's happened since has proved me quite sane in hindsight....after flippin' out during his inaugruation and being forced into state custody for a few days by my fundie family...then a hellish few months getting my brain chemistry restored after their *help*....I was enlightened by the experience to say the least...the difference between feeling oppressed and actually being depressed is a fine line in the eyes of society...and not everyone needs to be medicated on the mere basis of the expression of their feelings against what's fair and just being turned upside down and the constitution with it. x(

I'm not paranoid/shizoid...just cynical...I was taught a hard lesson early on about free speech and where you can end up after trying to express it...I'm deemed a crazy liberal...an irrational hysterical liberal.

19. when I was a kid
growing up "Southern Baptist" - my momma told me that God/Jesus was ALWAYS WATCHING ME.

I think I became a bit paranoid. I can remember making up elaborate "explanations" about EVERYTHING I did when I was alone. Why I used my right hand first. Why I was putting the cap on the toothpaste. Why I - did anything..... that sequed to I thought EVERYONE could "see" me in some way and just knew what I was doing. I was afraid of doing things "wrong" all the time when I was little.

(sigh)

I don't think people watch me anymore, but I think I'm still afraid of "doing things wrong" a lot.
