We are watching a M*A*S*H rerun of the very first episode with Colonel Flagg. The scene with him and Frank Burns got me to thinking about all of the great Republican characters in television and how they were always good for a laugh. :D

His characterization of Luthor has been a pleasure to watch these past 5 years. I cannot believe he doesn't get more plaudits for it.

I remember an epidose where Louise found out he was sending checks to an apartment in the projects - she worried he had a mistress but it turned out he used to LIVE in that apartment and was sending money to the current tenant, who didn't know his benefactor but was using the money to take classes - no fucking republican would do that in a million years

Bosley who played Harry Boyle.

Ralph was the leader of the Elm Street local company 'B' vigilante group. He saw communism from Russian and Red China everywhere. Anything that stood for love and peace was a threat to "the American way of life.
