Oxycodone doesn't, and codeine doesn't, but hydrocodone keeps me up. :shrug:

last time I was in the ER, they put an IV of that stuff in my arm....oh boy...when the nurse says "you should feel it in about 15 seconds" she wasn't lying...whew...

But Vicodin does not come in an injectable form, she may have given you Hydromorphone and not Hydrocodone. Trust me I am a nurse and I have a drug book next to me.

if my brain doesn't conjure up some shoulder pain or somethin' so I can eat one.

I usually take it for back pain at night, though, because that'll keep me awake.

14. I wish it worked like that for me.

It takes the edge off the pain but I get no euphoria or happy feeling. I can leave it on the shelf for months and months. Usually my refills expire.
