I remember him from years ago, so he's been around awhile. I've never seen his new show, but I'm glad he finally has hit the official 'big time' which means he can retire now.

we lost lots of comedians unless they got a show.

It was a cartoon based on a character from Howie's stand-up routines...a little boy named Bobby.

he was funny.

7. He still is,. He was funny tonight, but I've heard he has a 'thing'

about shaking hands and germs. He made that pretty clear tonight!

11. I have been acquainted with him and his family for a few years...

They are members of the fitness facility where I work. The germ thing is true. The first time I met him, his daughter was enrolled in our moviemaking camp and he came to see her. He was wearing gloves. He doesn't wear them on his show, though, I've noticed. Nice guy, though.

I used to wonder, "He's Jewish. So, how in the hell can he be so unfunny?"
Then I found out he was from Canada.
