***This is insane. It's midnight here in California,.***
I need to go to bed.

And what am I doing? Starting a thread.......

I have been in a very weird mood tonight......sad, restless, full of odd emotions........

There are some things happening in my personal life that are much on my mind...

But they haven't bothered me that much lately.........

So I don't know what I'm doing right now.......

I guess I'd like to hear from all of you.........

How are you doing? Need anything?

:loveya: :grouphug: :loveya:

Personally, I could use a hug right about now.

And a double-dose of...something. Courage, maybe?

2. Some days are just like that, darlin' Peggy.
Best thing I can say is don't fight it - just makes it worse if you try to force yourself to go to sleep.

I'm doing pretty well. Been BUSY this week with work -- woohoo!!!! My workload has been very low for the past few months, but it's starting to pick up some, which is great. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hang in there, my friend. Things will work out. And PM me anytime, if you need to talk. :loveya:  :loveya:

5. Eh, it's been a long crazy day...
My mother & stepdad headed out for Toronto this morning, leaving me home with my grandmother. Well, she ended up collapsing today and was out for like 2 minutes. I had to call 9-11 and she was rushed to the hospital. I spent a few hours there today and they think she needs a pacemaker (her heartrate was down to 40) but they're running some tests to make sure it wasn't a seizure. So my parents turned around while they were halfway to Toronto and came back to NJ.

I was supposed to go to a DUers house to teach her about digital photography & fix her printer, but I ended up not being able to and I wasn't able to call her to say I wouldn't make it. I sent her a PM tonight though. After that I was supposed to go see a play one of my friends wrote, but I can do that tommorow.

Plus I've had terrible PMS cramps all day, so I eventually caved and took a percoset. All around a crappy day. Bleh.

I'll happily take the blame for your still being awake!

I"m just moody tonight......it happens, sweetie......

If you use the HTML lookup table, you can do the bold and italic things...

Just use these brackets: [] with the i or the b inside to start the italicized or bold words......

And at the end of the phrase, insert this: /. And then put the i or the b after that. And of course, you still need the brackets!

Try it, and you'll get it.......if my instructions made sense!

Now go to bed! I'll be gone in another half hour or so.......:loveya:

26. 200 proof is 100% alcohol.
It's technically impossible to have 200 proof liquor, because it will absordb water from the air.

Edited on Sat Sep-16-06 02:31 AM by AutumnMist
Ok I will. The more hugs the better. I know we have shared some similar comments this evening/morning but I thought I would make a comment as well. About you. You can do it. Whatever is on your plate right now? Most likely it will fade in the future. When you need to work through it do so. Whatever is on your mind will be better when you are rested in the morning. Throw it out with the moon and face the day with a new dawn. You are loved here and embraced. And I have to ask you...because I really mean it. Need anything? I will be up for awhile. Always here to listen. :)

I responded quickly and kind of off the cuff before - without reading everything...hope your mind and heart are settling down in their proper places (they never really do know their place do they?) You have been soothing to me tonight, so I wish you to feel peace and calm also. A storm is rolling in from the Atlantic (or the Gulf) hard to tell on this little spit of land...and a storm always makes me calm..sending those thoughts your way, the soft sound of rain and the soughing of the wind in the palms.....Talk to you soon I hope...and a blue island shirt will be winging its way to you...sweet dreams from your island friend...

33. While she was so busy being free
Theres a man whos been out sailing
In a decade full of dreams
And he takes her to a schooner
And he treats her like a queen
Bearing beads from california
With their amber stones and green
He has called her from the harbor
He has kissed her with his freedom
He has heard her off to starboard
In the breaking and the breathing
Of the water weeds
While she was busy being free

Theres a man whos climbed a mountain
And hes calling out her name
And he hopes her heart can hear three thousand miles
He calls again
He can think her there beside him
He can miss her just the same
He has missed her in the forest
While he showed her all the flowers
And the branches sang the chorus
As he climbed the scaley towers
Of a forest tree
While she was somewhere being free

Theres a man whos sent a letter
And hes waiting for reply
He has asked her of her travels
Since the day they said goodbye
He writes wish you were beside me
We can make it if we try
He has seen her at the office
With her name on all his papers
Thru the sharing of the profits
He will find it hard to shake her
From his memory
And shes so busy being free

Theres a lady in the city
And she thinks she loves them all
Theres the one whos thinking of her
Theres the one who sometimes calls
Theres the one who writes her letters
With his facts and figures scrawl
She has brought them to her senses
They have laughed inside her laughter
Now she rallies her defenses
For she fears that one will ask her
For eternity
And shes so busy being free

Theres a man who sends her medals
He is bleeding from the war
Theres a jouster and a jester and a man who owns a store
Theres a drummer and a dreamer
And you know there may be more
She will love them when she sees them
They will lose her if they follow
And she only means to please them
And her heart is full and hollow
Like a cactus tree
While shes so busy being free

I think one of the worst things about feeling sad/weird is the feeling that no-one has ever felt this way before......

The feeling of isolation from others......
