This is a bad thing, because I'm so near my first goal, and beer has carbs. As long as I count every carb and keep within limits, I'm okay. But a 12 oz RR has about 10 carbs. And I like 2-3 of them at a go.

Good thing we're so broke. I shouldn't be buying beer.

What's your favorite beer?

I kinda like Rolling Rock . . .

1. Oh, NO KIDDING.

I like RR myself, but I have a weird nostalgia for Stroh's. :-)

They used to have tasting parties at the brewery every Thursday, which were also known (by those who need to know such things) as a fabulous place to kick back with a beer and a joint. The DEA busted them not for pot, but for some loophole in the liquor license regulations (can't serve beer where it's brewed, or some such nonsense). Their intention had been to bust pot sellers, but they couldn't get anybody to SELL it to them--partygoers just offered it to them for free.

The link on their website for info on the parties (which hopefully will start back soon) is "420." I love these guys.

They also do an outstanding season cream ale called "Sirius," which completely kicked my ass. I've never had a beer do that to me before.

On edit: How can you not love a brewery that sells this as its logo shirt:

10. I like domestic beer
I always have and always will. When I was in my early 20's I went to Canada and paid more so I could have a Bud..lol. Micro-beers are too bitter and suck and imported beers are too thick and taste like shit.

I am happy for the people who think that "exotic" beer is really groovy, but that's their problem. :)
Rolling Rock is ok too.

I like drinking something that is refreshing and not that I have to friggin' sip. If I want to sip something I will pour me a vodka, not a so-called beer. Beer is for drinking, not sippin'. :eyes:

13. Ever had Red Dog?
That's actually my fave, but I can't find it out here.

I used to keep score at adult softball leagues. One of the managers would bring me a Michelob before each of his games. It was nice, and I know he did it to try to keep his ERA down . . . this in slow-pitch.

I don't remember what it tastes like..lol. But I can guarantee I would drink a Red Dog before some micro-beer crap.

21. Oh, Johnnie, Johnnie, Johnnie.
No one has to SIP a beer if they don't want to. My favored hoppy, sharp, well-flavored brews just beg to be enjoyed with a gusto that would be denied by a dainty "sip."

11. I love all beers! My current fav is Stone Brewing Co.
They're a brewery in San Diego that brews a concoction called "Arrogant Bastard", a beer with a 12% alcoholic content and a really strong flavor. I've had a few blackouts drinking this stuff. It's great!
