legal minds -- Is a faxed copy of a Power of Attorney signed by my |

brother over to me (with a witness signature) all I need to act on his behalf or do I need an original. It is to act on his behalf for a real estate transaction. (I told him I prefer an original notarized but he said I don't need it).

...when it comes to legal documents.
As long as he keeps the original safe, in case you need it later, it really comes down to whether or not the folks you are dealing with will accept the Faxed copy as proof that you have the POA.
