The Dolphins are done
Well, the Broncos will take the last AFC Wild Card berth. For the second year in a row, Miami will miss the playoffs.

This should be an interesting offseason. With all the talent Miami has, its hard to take missing the playoffs this year. As is Wannstedt's history, his team has gotten progressively worse. Unfortunately, if the Dolphins end the season 10-6, I could see a scenario where ownership retains him as the head coach.

I think the Dolphins could use a change in attitude. Whenever there is a truly big situation, the Dolphins cannot seem to capitalize. There seems to be this fear of failure that takes over Miami in December. I'd like to see Wannstedt get fired, and hopefully Huizenga brings in someone fresh. Dennis Green would be great.

2. Exactly
It seems that everybody likes Wanny except for those who actually know him the best.

I think Wannstedt is an awful at the personnel aspect of the NFL. He needs a real solid talent evaluator on his staff. Everybody I've talked to from Chicago says that he sucks when it comes to player personnel.

4. Wanny blew it when he got Griese
for pennies. I knew that Fins would suck, and I was right.

Sorry about that. At least we got a kicker in Jake the Snake Plummer.

Go Broncos!

6. Congrats to Denver
In all honesty, they are a much more deserving representative of the AFC in the playoffs. I actually think with Portis and Plummer that they have a chance to advance. Miami would have been very fortunate to get past the Wild Card round.

3. I can save them!!!
As a Tampa resident for the last year, and as a Cleveland resident the previous 50 years, I'd be more than happy to offer you the services of Coach Butch Davis, of the Cleveland Browns. But, you have to take Carmen Policy, and "2 yard dink pass" Bruce Ariens with him. If the Fish are for sale, we'll see if former Browns owner Art Modell would like to buy them, as he's out of a job in the next week or two.

7. pardon me, but the colts losing was not a bad thing.....
...not if you are a titans fan....and houston is set to be a spoiler next week for them as well....<sarcasm alert>it would break my heart to see the titans win next week and the colts lose...whatever the case...the afc south has two strong entries in the playoffs this year, and i like their chances with the chiefs self destructing....

8. The AFC is great this year
I can make a plausible argument for almost each AFC playoff team making the Super Bowl. If McNair stays healthy, Tennessee has as good a shot as anybody.

The NFC, however, will probably come down to Philadelphia @ St. Louis for the NFC Title.
