I need some new music. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

I'm looking for some new music, and I need your help folks. I'm tired of my collection, and unfortunately, the music I hear over
here in Spain just doesn't do it for me (Yellowcard, Paris Hilton, the new Nickleback, etc). Post some of your favorite recent
music, and if you could be so kind as to provide a "comparison" (They sound kinda like), it be a tremendous help.

1. My current favorites are

Anna Nalick, The Fray and Snow Patrol.

I'm really, really bad at making musical comparisons, but they're used a lot in soundtracks (like for Grey's Anatomy), they're pop-y without being ridiculous, the lyrics actually make sense...and the entire albums are good, not just one song.
