Viking fans - today is the anniversary of your team! 1961 they played

their first game, beating the Chicago (FIB ASSHOLES) Bears 37-13, with Fran Tarkenton throwing 4 touchdowns and running for 1 touchdown.

2. There's not a single football team that hasn't spent years choking.

Some have choked more than others, but they've all sucked for good lengths of time.

So there is some hope in that.
