I am getting sick of these kittens.

I can't go round my own house barefoot or in shorts. My feet and legs are striped and bloody. One is chewing on my shoe right now. A minute ago I had three of them climbing my legs. They want to get on the desk -- all the time, not only when they smell my yogurt, like now. They wake me up tickling various body parts -- or tearing, biting, clawing, massacring anything they touch.

Ugh. I hate kittens.

2. They are sooo cute!

I know I'll have kittens in my life again after we buy a house in Florida. It's gonna be a while but I'll have another fur baby in my life when I can leave it outside. Mr. J_A is very allergic to cats. x(

They're mutating, I tell ya.

I have a kitten that will step INTO the spray from the water bottle, almost like he's being refreshed from the fine mist on a hot day. He'll lap at it like he's taking a drink.

So that's out. Now all I have is to try to show him my bloody arms and beg for sympathy, which of course causes him to pounce. :-)

I want a kitten!! I wanna kitten!!!! Whahhh! I can't have a kitten. I don't have the energy for a kitten!! I wanna new kitty!

The four here say, "no! We want you to ourselves!!" Since Jessica died, these four follow me from room to room to room...... I guess they don't want me to have another one to distract me. But I don't care! I wanna little teeny weeny thing to crawl up my leg and scratch it all to pieces! I wanna little itty bitty thing to chase the big bubbas and scare the hell out of them!!

I want a new little face to smile at and kiss and love.

I remember having to always wear long pants. I remember being climbed. Awwwwe.... I miss the days when I had the wee Pixie and he was a kitten.

14. Better give them a stuffed sock or two!

Take a couple of old socks and stuff them with your other mis-matched socks. Tie the tops off with a knot and when the kittens grab you give them the stuffed sock instead.

They'll wrestle with them and practice the "kill bite" on the stuffed socks rather than your feet and hands. (Well, part of the time anyway...)
