It's our thirteenth wedding anniversary today
We've been married for thirteen years, ten of them happily. ;-) :loveya:

We had a teeny outdoor wedding. The people that laughed at us for not having the WeddingExtravaganza(tm) are mostly not married to each other anymore.

How about you?
Julie

1. congrats
I've never been married, and not sure I want to, but if I do, I would definitely forgo the WeddingExtravaganza(tm) and do what you did.

Here's to many more happy years! :toast:

2. Congratulations!! I will be married 18 years on Oct. 1
My wedding was an Extravaganza but I still feel it was worth it. The only thing I would change is the husband. mr borlis has had a few very crabby years recently due mostly to his hating his current job (interviewing a lot, but so far no luck.) I am hoping that if and when he finds something different things will get better. I guess its true that its not all wine and roses. This must be the "for worse.":hi:

4. I hope that mrborlis finds a great job soon
>This must be the "for worse."<

I think those who are honest experience ups and downs in their marriages. We're not quite sure what to say to those who insist they've never, ever had a fight with their spouse, for instance ;-).

5. Congratulations!
We celebrated our 13th on the 4th of this month. '93 was a good year for tiny outdoor weddings where partners are still together I see!

What about the other 3?

Actually, none of my business.

Congratulations.
